The Norcross, GA distributor of of natural stone slabs and tiles filed for chapter 11 yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Atlanta. The schedules list assets as $11.5 million and liabilities as $12.5 million.
The largest unsecured creditors are listed as GMC SPA (Italy) and Imetame Granitos Ltda. (Brazil)

SouthEast Telephone, Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. The Pikeville, KY-based CLEC provides telecommunications and internet services to approximately 32,000 residential and commercial customers in rural Kentucky.
The debtor is represented by Wise DelCotto PLLC. AT&T is the largest unsecured creditor with a disputed $24 million trade claim.

Rochester, NY-based, The Jolt Company, Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. The debtor's schedules list $2.2 million in assets and $8.25 million in liabilities.
