Idearc Inc. Files For Chapter 11


Idearc Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.  The debtor's petition lists $1.8 billion in assets and $9.5 billion in debt, approximately $6.6 billion of it secured.

Idearc Inc. manages and delivers print, on-line and wireless publishing and advertising services.  They are represented by Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.

Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. Files For Chapter 11


The parent company of the Chicago Sun-Times filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this morning at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.  Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. listed $479 million in assets on its petition. The largest equity security holder is listed as Hollinger Inc. of Toronto.

Zounds, Inc. filed for chapter 11 yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.  The debtor, based in Phoenix, listed between $10 and $50 million in assets and liabilities.

Nova Biosource Fuels, Inc. Files For Chapter 11


Nova Biosource Fuels, Inc. filed for chapter 11 yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court in DE.  The debtor's petition lists approximately $110 million in assets and $111 million in debts.  The debtor is an energy company that markets bio-diesel fuel and related co-products from feed-stocks.
