LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  The debtor's petition lists $3.3 billion in assets and $2.8 billion in debts.  As of November 3rd, the debtor had 15,471,268 shares of common stock outstanding.

According to Court documents, LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. is the third largest title insurance underwriter in the United States.

Pegasus Wireless Corporation, of West Palm, filed for chapter 11 today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.  The debtor's petition lists about $17.5 million in assets and $3.9 million in debts.

Kobra Properties files for Chapter 11

Kobra Properties filed for Chapter 11 today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of CA.  The Roseville, CA debtor listed between $10 and $50 million in assets on it's petition.  Top unsecured creditors include Frayji Design Group Inc and CB Richard Ellis.
