Verdier Plantation, LLC files for Chapter 11

Bluffton South Carolina based, Verdier Plantation, LLC, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at the United states Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina.  The debtor's petition, filed today, lists assets and liabilities of between $10-$50 million. 

UNI-MARTS, LLC files for Chapter 11

State College PA based, UNI-MARTS, LLC filed for chapter 11 yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington Delaware.  On the petition, the debtor lists between $50-$100 million in assets and liabilities.

Hunter's Point Golf Community, LLC files for chapter 11

Hunter's Point Golf Community, LLC, of Nampa Idaho, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday.  The filing at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho lists about $4 million in assets and over $16 million in liabilities. 

Steakhouse Partners Inc. files for Chapter 11

Steakhouse Partners Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 15th at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California.  The San Diego based restaurant company's petition lists over $16 million and assets and about $26 million in debts.  On the same day, Paragon Steakhouse Restaurants, Inc. and Paragon of Michigan, Inc. also filed petitions under chapter 11.

The debtors are engaged in the operation of 21 steakhouse restaurants in Arizona, California, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio and Utah.
