Summit Global Logistics, Inc. and 16 affiliates filed for chapter 11 reorganization today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.  The East Rutherford, NJ Company lists between $50 and $100 million in assets on its petition.  The petition also lists between $100-$500 in liabilities.

Affiliated debtors include AmeRussia Shipping Company Inc., AMR Investments Inc., Clare Freight Los Angeles, Inc., Fashion Marketing, Inc., FMI Express Corp., FMI Holdco I, LLC, FMI International Corp., FMI International Corp. Tousa, Inc. files for Bankruptcy


Tousa, Inc. and 37 related entities filed for chapter 11 protection this morning at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.  The Hollywood, FL homebuilder listed almost $2.3 billion in assets and more than $1.7 billion in liabilities.  Additionally, the petition lists Wilmington Trust Company and HSBC Bank, USA as the largest unsecured creditors.

According to the debtor's filing, there are over 59 million shares of common stock outstanding.

Crescent Jewelers files for Chapter 11


Crescent Jewelers filed for chapter 11 reorganization today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.  The Addison, TX company listed between $100-$500 million in assets and liabilities.

American LaFrance, LLC files for Chapter 11


5/23/08  The United States Bankruptcy Court has confirmed the debtor's third amended plan of reorganization

2/5/08 Update:  The debtor filed its plan of reorganization and disclosure statement with the Bankruptcy Court on February 3rd.  Additionally, the US Trustee appointed the Committee of Unsecured Creditors yesterday.

American LaFrance, LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, DE.  The Summerville, SC manufacturer of emergency vehicles lists ACE-USA as the largest unsecured creditor with a disputed unsecured claim of $18.2 million.
