Harvey Electronics, Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.  Harvey is a retailer and servicer of audio, video and home theater equipment in the New York metropolitan area.  On its reorganization petition, the debtor listed total assets of over $9.9 million and total debts of almost $10.4 million.  Additionally, the petition indicates that there are 990 thousand shares of common stock outstanding.

AMS Health Sciences, Inc. files for chapter 11

AMS Health Sciences, Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.  The Oklahoma City based developer and distributor of weight loss and nutritional products listed $6.8 million in assets and $3.4 million in debts.  According to the debtor's petition, there are over 8.5 million shares of common stock held by approximately 1600 shareholders. 

Denver Radio Company, LLC files for Chapter 11

Denver Radio Company, LLC filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.  The December 26th filing by the Aurora, CO company listed assets and liabilities of between $1-$100 million.  The debtor is represented by Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, P.C.

Derco, Inc. files for Chapter 11

Derco, Inc. filed for chapter 11 reorganization yesterday at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.  The San Francisco jeweler, founded in 1939, is represented by Macdonald & Associates.
