The Miami based company filed it's reorganization petition at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of FL. According to the debtor's website, Pharmed is the "largest independent , full line distributor of medical, surgical, and rehabilitative supplies, and provider of materials management services in the United States." The Company has filed applications to employ Berger Singerman, P.A. as counsel and FTI Consulting, Inc. as restructuring advisors.
Update: The United States Bankruptcy Court confirmed the debtor's second amended plan of liquidation on September 17, 2008.
