C2 Media Inc. and affiliates filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The debtor, based in New York, is a provider of digital and screen printed graphics. As of December 31, 2009, the debtors' balance sheet reflects assets of approximately $17 million and liabilities of $21 million. (petition) The debtor employs 205 people in the United States.
Court documents indicate that financial difficulties stem from decreased customer advertising budgets.
The debtor also filed for chapter 11 in 2001.
